Crewe and Nantwich Rambling Club’s 70th Anniversary Walk

Winnie Jenkins was a typist in the Crewe 1st District Tax Office, and a member of the Chester Rambling Club. She broke away from the Chester Rambling Club and got some colleagues in the Crewe Tax Office interested in rambling, and so in October 1946, the Crewe C.H.A and H F Rambling Club was formed.

The group celebrated its 70 anniversary in 2016 and is thriving today with well over 100 members.
